A clumsy but kind-hearted hotel employee is praised for the first time by a jaded romance novelist guest, and becomes determined to help him, even as his bumbling ways cause more trouble than aid.
In the final stories, the most popular boy in school, known for his winning smile, is frustrated by the one classmate who remains immune to his charm, and a continuation of the pediatrician's story explores the aftermath of his unexpected relationship.
