Makoto is sold off as a child by his parents to a wealthy pedophile to pay off their debt. Forced into a life of abuse and servitude, he endures his grim existence with only one source of light: his friendship with Shuuichi, the master's son. Shuuichi treats him kindly, and their bond becomes Makoto's sole comfort in an otherwise dark world.
But lately, something has changed. Shuuichi begins to grow increasingly distant from Makoto, pulling away without explanation.
