Kitamura, a 31-year-old convenience store manager, leads a perfectly ordinary life. He has normal good looks, a normal job, and a normal relationship with a normal woman, yet he feels a normal amount of unhappiness. His days are predictable and barren, until a storm warning disrupts his routine.
That storm is Minamihara, a younger part-time employee who lives boldly and courageously. Minamihara's arrival throws Kitamura's life and heart into unexpected directions, challenging his mundane existence and forcing him to confront feelings he never anticipated.
