In a remote village, a group of women live under the strict control of the men who rule them. They are subjected to daily rituals and traditions that strip them of their freedom, forced to obey the village's harsh laws without question. Among them is a young woman who begins to question the life she has been born into, sensing that something is deeply wrong with the world around her.
As she secretly observes the men's actions and the suffering of the other women, she discovers the dark truth behind the village's customs: a system designed to exploit and dominate. Her growing awareness puts her at odds with the village elders, who will stop at nothing to maintain their power. Caught between fear and a desperate desire for change, she must decide whether to submit or fight back against the oppressive order that has defined her entire existence.
