Ruwen is a Mana Investigator, tasked with monitoring the use of Mana—the spirit of green living things—which can be used for both good and evil. He is sent to a small town to investigate a potential abuse of Mana. There, he meets Miniru, a cheerful little girl who eagerly shows him around.
Miniru is suffering from a strange illness, and Ruwen begins to suspect that her condition might be connected to the Mana disturbance he is investigating. As he delves deeper, he must uncover the truth behind the mysterious events in the town.
