Uchida Makoto confesses his feelings to his classmate Kittaka Ayame on the school rooftop, but she bluntly rejects him and walks away. As he laments his inability to express his love properly, his senpai Tomomori Yuumi appears and claims she is a witch who can help him with magic.
Yuumi brings Makoto to the gym storage room and gives him a bag containing a wig, ribbons, a girl's school uniform, and underwear. She persuades him to reluctantly cross-dress and introduces him to the light music club, where Ayame and Yuumi are members, as the new keyboardist Mishiba Kotono. Makoto must navigate this disguise to get closer to Ayame while hiding his true identity.
