Satsuki is a short-tempered girl who grew up in a kendo dojo, where her father serves as an instructor. She often gets into fights with bullies, using her knowledge of kendo. Frustrated with her behavior, her father sends her to stay with her uncle in Kamakura.
At her new school, the principal is extremely strict, and the gym teacher abuses his authority by using physical violence as corporal punishment. Satsuki must navigate this harsh environment while trying to control her temper.
