Kyuudou Shikon: Kyoto Sanjuusangen-dou Tooshiya Monogatari

In 1606 Kyoto, a samurai sets a peculiar record by shooting fifty arrows through the gallery of a temple. This challenge, known as Tōshiya, quickly becomes a fierce competition as talented archers repeatedly break the record. Feudal lords across the country grow eager to boast of having trained the one archer who will set an unbeatable mark and claim the title of "First under the Sky."

Kanza, a low-rank samurai, becomes drawn into this battle of will, honor, and pride after seeking to avenge his father's accidental death. He devotes himself entirely to training for the Tōshiya, pushing his body and spirit to the limit in pursuit of the ultimate shot.
