Nene Mamiya, the daughter of the president of a major food company, has grown up with an air of superiority, looking down on those around her due to her father's influence. Everything changes when her father's company is hit by a massive scandal. Suddenly, Nene's privileged world crumbles, leaving her dejected and in tears. She decides to sell her house and leave town the next day, cutting all ties. Worried about her, Kotaro goes to her home and finds her in despair.
