Maybe I'm Your Steppin' Stone

Kenji Hirosue, a gentle convenience store clerk, has a huge crush on Kousei Mogi, a rude construction worker who visits his store. When Kenji discovers that Kousei's son attends the same nursery as his niece, he seizes the chance to get closer to his dream date, hoping to turn his feelings into something more.

However, Kousei seems more interested in Kenji's body than his emotions, leaving Kenji uncertain about where they stand. As their relationship develops, Kenji struggles to understand Kousei's past, including his divorce from his ex-wife, and questions whether Kousei's feelings are genuine or if he might move on to someone else.
