Sunao has spent the last eight years trapped in a monotonous routine of work and solitude, his days blending into one another without any sense of purpose or joy. He lacks the motivation to change his circumstances, resigned to a life of loneliness and despair. That all changes when he answers his door one day to find two young women standing there, assigned to live with him as part of a government initiative aimed at reversing the nation's declining birth rates. The program, known as "Sex Partners Delivered to Your Door," pairs individuals with partners to encourage reproduction and combat the demographic crisis. Initially bewildered by the arrangement, Sunao must navigate the complexities of sharing his home with strangers who are now expected to be intimate companions.
