Kawashima has failed his college entrance exams for the second time, and the fallout forces him out of his family home and into a small apartment of his own. He has barely finished moving in when a girl crashes straight through his wall, leaving their two units connected by a hole that neither of them can ignore.
She introduces herself as Imori, a high school student who lives alone next door. For a young man whose luck with girls has never amounted to anything, the arrangement seems almost too good to be true. Yet Imori is strange in ways that are hard to overlook: she is always dressed in some form of school uniform, and she drinks beer as if it were nothing.
