Hyper Genius is a collection of two stories. In "To the Sea," Yutaka is left in the care of the strict Naruhiko while his parents are away. His only comfort is a mysterious beauty he meets at the swimshore, a girl who seems strangely familiar. As Yutaka is drawn to her, he begins to wonder about the connection between this captivating swimmer and the cold Naruhiko.
In "I'm Not Your Mama," Shou is the tough leader of a school gang, but at home he plays the role of mother to his two younger brothers. When David, the leader of a rival gang, discovers Shou's hidden domestic side and an embarrassing secret, he claims to have feelings for Shou and promises to keep his secret. Shou is left wondering if he can truly trust his rival.
