Ruka is a high school student living in Sapporo, Hokkaido, with her loving family: a strict but caring mother, a gentle father, an older sister, and a younger sister. Her days are peaceful and happy in their home surrounded by lilacs.
One day, a new transfer student named Shion arrives at her school. For reasons unknown, he immediately treats Ruka as his sworn enemy. As Ruka tries to understand his hostile behavior, her once-blissful life begins to take a turn for the worse, unraveling secrets that threaten her family's harmony.
