Asakura Aki is the star of her middle school's track team, known for her speed that rivals even the boys. She has a secret crush on her childhood friend and neighbor, Shiiba Chihaya, but struggles to express her feelings. Her daily routine is disrupted when news arrives that a transfer student is coming to the school on a track scholarship.
