Poponepo the Crime King

The one feared by all, "Criminal King Poponepo," has been arrested, but he immediately escapes prison. During his escape, he abducts the main character, Maruki, and implants the IC chip that identifies Poponepo as a criminal into Maruki. Now, Maruki is being arrested as the new "Criminal King."
Born and raised in prison, Poponepo broke out at a young age, and his crime spree has made him infamous. Maruki, a runt who has only ever killed cockroaches, suddenly finds himself mistaken for the most dangerous criminal in the world. With everyone believing he is Poponepo, Maruki must navigate a world that fears and hunts him.
Can Maruki live up to the notoriety of the Criminal King, or will he be consumed by a life of crime he never wanted? Caught between two truths, good and evil, his only chance is to clear his name and survive the chaos that now surrounds him.
