Maya travels to India to work as a Japanese tutor, but upon arrival he is betrayed and robbed by a friend, left for dead in the middle of nowhere. As he lies half-conscious, he sees a white tiger that whispers a word and transforms into a beautiful green-eyed man with long black hair, who kisses him and then vanishes.
After frantically searching for his belongings and the false friend, Maya is caught by strange men. He encounters his mysterious apparition again, but this man, Maharaja Vishuvendora, does not have black hair and green eyes. While sheltering at the Maharaja's compound, Maya wanders the grounds and finds the black-haired man from his vision, setting the stage for a complicated entanglement.
