Father Chikayoshi, a man of faith, finds himself consumed by a forbidden love for his student, Motoyama Kiyoshi. Tormented by the sin of his feelings, he seeks a path to redemption not through prayer, but through absolute submission. He offers himself completely to Motoyama, allowing the young man to taint and control him as a form of penance.
Their relationship becomes a twisted exchange of power and guilt, where devotion is expressed through surrender. As Chikayoshi gives up his will, he hopes to find forgiveness in the very act that damns him, blurring the lines between salvation and damnation.
