Kouji is deeply concerned about his friend Kaoru, a quiet and anti-social college student who has become increasingly withdrawn. Kaoru spends all his time online, visiting strange occult websites filled with dubious information and questionable advice. His obsession with these sites has grown to the point where he has stopped attending lectures and refuses to leave his house.

Kaoru claims that he is destined to die soon, based on predictions he has found on the internet. He has confined himself to his home, cutting off contact with the outside world. Kouji watches helplessly as his friend's behavior becomes more erratic and disturbing. He must find a way to reach Kaoru and convince him that the online prophecies are not real, before it is too late and Kaoru's fears become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
