In a quiet village, a young woman named Kana lives a simple life, helping her family prepare for the upcoming festival. She has always been curious about the mysterious hare that appears only during festival days, rumored to bring good luck to those who see it. One evening, while gathering supplies, she encounters a handsome stranger who seems to know more about the hare than he lets on.
As the festival draws near, Kana finds herself drawn into a series of passionate encounters with the stranger, who reveals himself to be a spirit bound to the festival.
