Daigishi no Ichizoku

Kokoro is a young bureaucrat from a family of pedigree, raised with the expectation of following in his father's political footsteps. To better prepare himself for a career as a politician, he decides to travel abroad with his father's secretary, Maki. The journey is meant to broaden his horizons and give him the experience needed to succeed in the cutthroat world of politics.

As they travel together, the relationship between Kokoro and Maki evolves beyond that of a simple employer and employee. Kokoro finds himself drawn to Maki in ways he did not anticipate, complicating his plans and his sense of duty. Meanwhile, the political pressures from his family and the expectations of his future career weigh heavily on him.

Kokoro must navigate the delicate balance between his personal feelings and his professional ambitions. The trip becomes a crucible where his identity, desires, and loyalties are tested, forcing him to confront what he truly wants from life and whether he can reconcile his heart with the path laid out for him.
