In 1970, Cleopatra, the second installment of the Animerama trilogy, was adapted into a manga by Hisashi Sakaguchi under the direction of Osamu Tezuka. The story follows the legendary Queen Cleopatra VII of Egypt as she navigates political intrigue and romance in the ancient world.
Originally published as a special issue of COM magazine, the manga was long considered lost after the original manuscripts disappeared. Decades later, restored from surviving materials, this single-volume work presents a unique vision of the iconic queen's life and her struggle for power.
