Atsui Natsu, Oba no Ie de...: Fundoshi Iwai

A teenage boy spends a sweltering summer at his aunt's house, a break from his usual routine that promises relaxation and escape from the city's heat. He is greeted by the familiar comfort of family, but the oppressive atmosphere of the season and the close quarters of the home create a tension that hangs in the air. The boy finds himself increasingly aware of the dynamics and unspoken currents between the residents, particularly in the intimacy of a shared living space.

As the days stretch on, a traditional summer celebration brings an unexpected focus to the boy's attention: the custom of the fundoshi, a traditional loincloth. This event, meant to be a lighthearted nod to heritage, stirs a complex mix of curiosity and unease within him. The boundaries of propriety begin to blur under the summer sun, and the simple act of observing a family tradition takes on a provocative edge, leading him down a path of temptation he never anticipated.
