A collection of four short stories exploring love, relationships, and unexpected connections.
In "Easy Chocolate," a young man who finds women bothersome encounters a persistent girl who refuses to give up on him after an accident he blames himself for. "Heavy Clouds, No Rain" follows a young couple whose peaceful life is disrupted when a stranger arrives demanding compensation for an affair involving the man's late father.
"Broach" centers on a couple who recently ended their decade-long relationship, only to have their shared cat go missing, prompting one of them to question what truly held them together. Finally, "From the Cabbage Kingdom '03: Hesitation" depicts a reluctant teenage romance between an unlikely pair: a serious student and a scatterbrained classmate.
