Naruse works at a leisure facility and is tasked with supervising the incompetent new employee, Kousaka, who has been assigned to pull weeds. Despite his lack of skill, Kousaka harbors deep admiration for Naruse, which grows into something more intense as his final day approaches.

The night before Kousaka is set to leave, his pent-up feelings finally surface. When he gets drunk, he confesses his love to Naruse in a way that changes their relationship.
