Yonomori, a beautiful college student, is secretly in love with his underclassman, Hinohara. Though Hinohara is cocky and arrogant, he sometimes treats Yonomori with surprising tenderness, as if he were a precious jewel. These moments fill Yonomori's days with bittersweet hope.

One day, Yonomori is shocked to learn that Hinohara has a crush on someone else. Plagued by hesitation, he musters the courage to ask Hinohara about the identity of that person. However, Hinohara agrees to reveal the answer only on one condition: Yonomori must become something in return.
