Seventeen-year-old Ringo Kinoshita falls in love at first sight with his student teacher, Yashachi Kai. He dreams of a rosy romance, but his feelings are unrequited. Kai-sensei seems to dislike him, and Ringo's clumsy attempts to get closer only make things worse.
A prank goes wrong, leading to a series of misunderstandings that drive the two further apart. As Ringo struggles with his unreturned affection, he must find a way to bridge the gap between them or risk losing any chance at love.
