Shu Ooka is a popular composer living with his older lover, Shizuka, who is also his cousin. Their peaceful life includes Shu's young son, Botan, and the bond they share is tested by Shizuka's domineering yet affectionate nature.
The arrival of Ryujin Takamura, a famous stage actor and Shu's longtime rival, disrupts their household. Ryujin openly pursues Shizuka, using his charm and acting skills to get close to him. When Shizuka begins helping Ryujin with his housework, Shu's jealousy ignites, threatening the harmony of their relationship.
