In the Taisho era, Mikagura Tokito, the director of a detective agency, disappears after an accident. Three young women who adore him—Tomoe, Shigeno, and Chizuru—grow anxious and decide to search for him. Hearing that Shigeno's elder brother spotted Tokito at a church in a foreign country, they travel there hoping to reunite with him.
Instead of finding Tokito, they discover the dead body of a priest with his arms cut off. Believing this murder is connected to Tokito's disappearance, they begin investigating. Soon, they are attacked by mysterious men, and their quest to find Tokito becomes increasingly dangerous.
