Mainichi JK Kikaku is an anime television series adaptation of the illustration series created by artist Kina Kazuharu. The project was formally announced with plans to launch in 2018, beginning with a special pilot animation released as episode zero. This initial episode was intended to introduce the world and characters, setting the stage for the full series.
The anime aimed to bring the charming and distinctive everyday scenarios from the original illustrations to life. However, despite the announcement and the completion of the pilot episode, the full television series production was ultimately halted. The cancellation left the project unrealized, with no subsequent episodes produced or released.
