A group of friends sets out on a summer vacation, but their boat is swept away by the sea, stranding them on a mysterious island in another world. This island, Paradisiem Island, is small and home to a single village. The village chief reveals that the island's Guardian Deity foresaw their arrival and needs their help to restore the island to its former glory.
Without enough tourists to worship the Guardian Deity, the deity's power—which the group needs to return home—is fading. Together with their friends Sahoto, Mei, and Chiyo, as well as new acquaintances they meet on the island, they must work to help the island grow and prosper into a popular tourist destination.
